Nia Long shared this on her instagram, it’s fan art
Wow! I saw that earlier today. Had no idea!I made that poster
This has a February 15th release date.
I noticed. Mostly people who think Siedah should be in it. I'm more interested in who this Leroy Lubin is playing. Greg Phillinganes? Some people over on Twitter are up in arms over Andy Warhol being in the biopic.
I actually do not understand why he would be so important to be included. He did the one painting of Michael, but is that important enough? Surely his importance is neglegible compared to that of James Brown or Fred Astaire and they have not yet been included. Some people over on Twitter are up in arms over Andy Warhol being in the biopic.
next is E.T.Some people over on Twitter are up in arms over Andy Warhol being in the biopic.
I bet ya it will be nothing more than a cameo appearance at studio 54 alongside a few other celebs , he will get about 30 seconds screen time.I actually do not understand why he would be so important to be included. That's so cool!! It's really good!I made that poster
I've always felt this was going to happen. We know they were advertising for lookalikes for Liza Minnelli, Truman Capote and Bob Fosse. Andy Warhol is probably the person that is most associated with Studio 54 so a brief scene there makes sense. That said, I'll be interested to see if they do include the Time magazine cover art from 1984. I don't mean they would show Andy Warhol creating the piece but I wonder if they will show it onscreen. It's a small moment (maybe, not really) but it is part of the Thriller era madness.I bet ya it will be nothing more than a cameo appearance at studio 54 alongside a few other celebs , he will get about 30 seconds screen time.
Wow, that video just reminded me how very much I love the Intro to the Moonwalker movie, the short sections that start when Music and me is being played. Truely beautiful and most efficient. I wouldnßt mind them going a similar path again for this movie.
The recording session began with the demoing of three songs but soon after the sessions started, the two realized they may not be able to handle each other's eccentricities. According to a Rolling Stone interview with Queen manager, Jim Beach, he received a call from Mercury, Beach recalls Mercury saying, 'You have to get me out of the studio', When he prompted the singer for more information, Mercury elaborated,
"…because I'm recording with a llama. Michael's bringing his pet llama into the studio every day and I'm really not used to it, and I've had enough, and I want to get out."
Wouldn't it make a wonderful moment if Rami Malek did a cameo?I hope this makes the movie:
Cocaine & Llamas: The Failed Collaboration Between Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson
Yeah, you read that right... WTF Moments from the 1980s.www.ultimate-guitar.com
If I had to choose though, I would opt for Music and me as one could argue Childhood surpresses his whole being to his childhood years, thus in the eyes of some he is not a grown up man. Music and me on the other hand does not have this association as music indeed represented this man's whole life until the very end... "for such a long time..." indeed.I'd love to see both Music and Me & Childhood feature prominently.
If you're looking to tell Michael's story, look at how he told it himself in his art. Childhood especially.
They put the gates back I'm gonna cry from start to finish during this film!

Siedah co-wrote MITM with Glen Ballard. They also wrote Keep The Faith. Siedah did record IJCSLY with Michael.
No, that was Sheryl Crow. Siedah did backing vocals on the Dangerous tour.
