What a great way to describe them! So true...! His hands are gorgeous! I really love his hands in TII during Human Nature...The first part of HN, when he's wearing his pointy coat...His hands are just incredible...They are MASSIVE! I always stare at them when I see that part in TII...

Michael has this natural gap between his forefinger and his middle finger
that I have always noticed and thought it was unique.
Maybe it's not, but I thought so.

well...i guess i just got this photo shared by someone else here or in the other photo album and didn't really pay attention to the finger at the time :doh:, but anyway, thanks for raising this to my attention. ;D

This may sound strange, but you know how a cat's tail almost seems to move independent of the cat? That's kind of how his hands seem, like he's not consciously controlling every movement, and that's what makes them so expressive.
Also, hands usually have a kind of 'home' position or a relaxed position, which for most people means fingers mostly together, hands slightly closed or curled, resting at their side or on top of a leg. But not for Michael.
See how his fingers are like always randomly spread apart or flexed?
or beautifully fanned.
