Sycamore tree at Sycamore Gap, Hadrian's Wall - sadly, as of 29/09/23 it has been felled.

It's such a beautiful tree why did it have to be cut down : (

No-one knows. A teenager has been arrested in connection with this but I don't know what the story is. I'm not sure I even want to know. The tree has gone, it doesn't make sense, it's so disheartening.
