"This musical documentary captures the elusive character of one of rock's greatest musicians: Rock 'n' Roll Hall-of-Famer Jimi Hendrix. Hendrix, arguably the most influential guitarist in the history of rock 'n' roll, is shown in rare performances, interviews and behind-the-scenes footage including such legendary songs as "Purple Haze," "Little Wing," and "Foxy Lady." Hendrix's all-too-brief career was cut short by a fatal overdose at the age of 27 in 1970."
Eddie Kramer, Jimi's studio engineer, talks about the song 'Are You Experienced'.
"It's one of my favorite tracks," explains Eddie Kramer. "This was a creation in the studio. This was the title track to the album and it is pretty special."
