I simply can’t fathom how Blue Gangsta and We’ve Had Enough didn’t make the cut, they are two of MJ’s best tracks ever. Blue Gangsta would have been a huge hit in 2001.
It has been said that Michael Jackson wanted to keep the truly good songs for himself by not including them on the 'Invincible' album, with a view to releasing them later on a new album and under a different record company (not under Sony Music).
For example:
- 'We've Had Enough'
- 'Shout'
- 'Fall Again'
- 'Xscape'
- 'Blue Gangsta'
- 'Beautiful Girl'
- 'Chicago' (also known as 'She Was Loving Me')
The singer started in 2002-2003 to rework some of the outtakes that he had kept for himself (from the 'Invincible' album) in order to include them, along with some other brand new songs, on a new studio album slated for release in 2003 under a different record company.
