I hesitate between Destiny and Triumph.

Triumph is perfection, but Destiny is more spontaneous and fresher. I would compare these two albums to Off The Wall and Thriller.

Ok, let's say Destiny then, because when you listen to it, you know that these guys are gonna make a triumph...

Triumph for sure.

From front to back, that album is just incredible to me. Personally, I see it as sort of a companion album to Thriller. It feels sort of like a pre-cursor to what was about to happen.

I'd even say I slightly prefer Triumph over Off The Wall.

The Jacksons period is overlooked and so important musically. I think along with Off The Wall, Triumph and Destiny are about the best music Michael ever made. His brothers really gave him something to play off of and they wrote some great songs together. I would say that for me the 1981 tour is Michael at his peak. Don't get me wrong later albums like History were great but I love the Jacksons era.

All the albums are wonderful. And although I don't have Goin' Places, I DO know that two of my most favourite MJ/Jacksons songs are on it: 'Even Though You're Gone' and 'Find Me A Girl'. :)

V for Victory. Maybe because I love the 80s, but that album is awesome. The only song I don't like on it is MJs solo song.

I've traditionally just slightly favoured Destiny to Triumph. Third in my list would be Victory as I like basically all of the songs on that one, unlike as seems to be the case with many people, while the other two would be roughly tied, I think.

I really like the album Victory because of the 80's sound. Destiny and Triumph don't really work out for me, altough there are some good songs on those albums.

i said this in another thread, and i'll say it again. NOTHING beats Triumph. it is perfection from beginning to end. in fact, i played it today and thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. :)
