#TopicOfToday is #MJChills
We all have those songs that chills our spine,
gives us goosebumps and catch us off guard
This #MJJCBlog aims to reveal the most
chilling songs by yours truly.
"Shiny and sparkly and splendidly bright
Here one day. Gone one night"
Let me hit off with one of those MJ songs that chill you to the core.
Yep "Gone too soon", it fills my veins with icy cold water Brrrr...
"Feels like a fire that burns in my heart
Every single moment that we spend apart
I need you around for every day to start
I haven't left you alone
There's something about you, I stare in your eyes
And everything I'm looking for I seem to find
All this time away is killing me inside
I need your love in my life"
"Fall again" is another song that both enchants me and chills me as
it explains 'perfectly' what MJ means to me.
The first years that we lost MJ I just cried whenever
I listened to that song. Now, it does still chills my core being.
"A fall down the stairs. Her dress torn
Oh the blood in her hair...
A mystery so sullen in air. She lie there so tenderly
Fashioned so slenderly. Lift her with care,
Oh the blood in her hair... "
These lyrics from "Little Suzie" come like straight out
of a 'horror movie'. I adore this song really.
The reason why it gives me the chills is simply the way MJ sings it.
It's bone chilling horror as I can even imagine that
poor girl laying there with
oh the blood in her hair...
"Another day has gone. I'm still all alone
How could this be. You're not here with me
You never said goodbye. Someone tell me why
Did you have to go and leave my world so cold"
"You are not alone" is definately one of those MJ songs that
ripples through your body cause of the haunting lyrics and
the way MJ evokes the sentiment and hurt hidden in this
expression of words.
"In Our Darkest Hour
In My Deepest Despair
Will You Still Care? Will You Be There?
In My Trials and My Tribulations
Through Our Doubts and Frustrations
In My Violence, In My Turbulence
Through My Fear and My Confessions
In My Anguish And My Pain
Through My Joy And My Sorrow
In The Promise Of Another Tomorrow
I'll Never Let You Part
For You're Always In My Heart."
Yeah, I chose the MOST chilling one for last.
I don't often listen to "Will you be there"
Especially with the 'spoken outro' as
it really tears you apart and leaves you in tears while
your body ripples in chills.
So. the meaning we give to the 'chills' we get from listening to MJ
swings from the icy cold ripples to the extend of tears
flowing freely along our cheeks.
Ah, how his voice can evoke such a range of emotions is
Pop in and share what MJ songs give you the chills?
